How this site works

Who are we?

Heat Pump Grants North West is an independent service. We are not the government or Ofgem, and we don't decide who gets the Boiler Upgrade Scheme grant.

Does the checker cost anything?

No. The eligibility checker is free to use, and you don't need to give any details to see your result.

What happens if I ask for quotes?

If you ask for quotes, we share your details with up to three MCS-certified installers covering your area so they can contact you.

How do we make money?

We may receive a fee from installers for introductions. This never affects the grant you receive, which is set by the scheme and the same whichever installer you choose.

Do I have to go ahead?

No. You're under no obligation to accept any quote or proceed with an installation.
